Lord of the Mountains Names Interim Minister
 
 
(Dillon, CO) - Pastor Kenneth C. Stenman will serve as the interim pastor of Lord of the Mountains Lutheran Church until a permanent pastor is called.  Pastor Stenman has been retired and lives in Evergreen, Colorado with his wife Priscilla (Cil).  He comes to Lord of the Mountains with an impressive ministerial background.
 
After graduating from Augustana College in Rock Island and the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, Pastor Stenman served as mission developer and then pastor of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Walnut Creek, California.  He then served an English speaking community within the Church of Sweden.  The last 21 plus years of active ministry was in Glen Ellyn, Illinois where he served as senior pastor of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church.  His very active retirement includes a tour of duty at the American Church in Paris and in several interim ministries.
 
Pastor Ken was born in Denver with family roots that go back over 100 years.  He and Cil boast 3 children and seven grand children who all live in the Denver metro area.
