GodsWorkOurHands 2022 copyGOD'S WORK. OUR HANDS : DOMUS PACIS FAMILY RESPITE - Sunday, September 18th. Downstairs, immediately following the service.

"God’s Work. Our Hands” is a program of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Our Statement of Theology says, “ We aspire to serve our neighbor in love both locally and globally.” This program is one of many ways LOTM's congregation finds to gather in fellowship to serve our community.

Domus Pacis (Latin for "house of peace") Family Respite invites cancer patients, their families and friends to escape to the beauty of the mountains and experience the peace that comes from creating joyful memories for the people they most cherish during their cancer journey.

Founded in 2008, the respite program relies on the use of donated resort homes, as well as the giving nature of an army of volunteers. Since its inception, Domus Pacis has coordinated over 1,400 family respites, and continues to make a difference in the lives of numerous families every year.

Please mark your calendars to serve Domus Pacis families by gathering together to prepare and freeze meals on Sunday, September 18th.
